## What they believe
Guelph Bible Chapel holds that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, entirely trustworthy and without error; that God is Trinity; that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, who died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice; that salvation is through the death and resurrection of Christ; and that the Lord Jesus will personally return. Its mission is to know and enjoy God through the transforming power of Jesus Christ his Son.

## What to expect
There is no dress code. Gathered worship is typically under 90 minutes, with gospel-centred preaching, prayer, the reading of God's Word and a blend of contemporary songs and traditional hymns. Supervised nursery care is available up to age four, children in JK to grade 6 begin in the service and then go to Kids' Church upstairs, the Lord's Supper is observed regularly, and coffee, tea, juice and snacks follow the service.

## About this congregation
Guelph Bible Chapel traces its roots to a community of Christians gathering in the name of the Lord Jesus in Guelph in the late 1800s; it originated as a Plymouth Brethren assembly, opened a permanent building in 1919 and built its present chapel on Silvercreek Parkway South in 1960. Elders provide spiritual oversight, and the church names five core values: stand on Scripture, pursue God's presence, love others lavishly, disciple with diligence and evangelize with expectation. The office is open Monday to Thursday mornings.
