Living Word Canadian Reformed Church
Living Word holds that God makes himself known through the Bible as far as is necessary for us in this life, to his glory and our salvation. It subscribes to the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism and the Canons of Dort, and names the five solas of the Reformation, Scripture alone, faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone and glory to God alone, as essentials of Christian life and practice.
Living Word Canadian Reformed Church was instituted on March 27, 2011 and belongs to Classis Northern Ontario. It describes itself as a community gathered by God’s grace, taking its name from Hebrews 4:12, and worships twice each Sunday at 206 Victoria Road North, with services also livestreamed. The minister is Rev. Jeff Poort; Rev. Douwe Agema is minister emeritus.
