Water Street Church
Water Street is part of the Christian Reformed Church in North America and rooted in the Reformed tradition. It describes itself as a community of faith centred on the Word of God, striving to be a loving community, led by the Holy Spirit, where people come to know God, follow Jesus and serve the world.
Water Street Church was organized in 1953 and belongs to Classis Huron of the Christian Reformed Church in North America; the denominational directory lists 273 members and about 150 in attendance, English-language services, a barrier-free building with assistive sound and projection, signing and transportation for people with disabilities, and a program with people with intellectual disabilities. Josh Sweetman serves as Pastor of Faith Formation, and the lead pastor position is currently vacant.
What to expect
Come as you are. The music is a variety geared to all ages with Bible-based teaching; childcare is provided for infants to age three, and children from age four to grade four are welcome at Sunday School during the service.
