Elora Road Christian Fellowship
Elora Road Christian Fellowship believes in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, who died on a cross as the perfect sacrifice for sin, rose from the dead and will return bodily; that the Bible is God's inspired Word, without error in its original manuscripts; and that salvation is a gift received by trusting in Jesus Christ, not earned by good works. It baptizes believers by immersion and affirms the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds, and its vision is expressing the unconditional love of Jesus to everyone.
Elora Road Christian Fellowship describes itself as a multi-generational church just north of Guelph on Wellington Road 7, serving families and individuals from Guelph, Guelph/Eramosa, Fergus, Elora and across Wellington County. Chris Long is Lead Pastor, Jim Gordon is Pastor Emeritus, and the church also has elders, pastoral advisors and a board of directors. The fellowship runs Elora Road Christian School and Elora House, and its ministries include small groups, Amplified Youth for grades 8 to 12, Sisterhood and support for REACH missionaries.
What to expect
The Sunday gathering begins at 10:00 a.m. and usually finishes around 11:30, with worship through music, prayer and practical biblical teaching. There is no dress code, and visitors are encouraged to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early for coffee or tea and to check in children. Infants through junior kindergarten have a supervised play room for the whole service, and Kingdom Kids (senior kindergarten to grade 5) begin in the main service and leave after worship for their own teaching. Parking is on site, and the church asks visitors with accessibility questions to contact it before they come.
